Divesh Pokharel reached the top 7 of American Idol

Nepal's Divesh Pokhrel has been included in the top seven in the title race of the 18th edition of American Idol. Divesh, who grew up in Kathmandu, has been living in the US with his parents for higher education. Because of Covid-19, American Idol has been broadcasting from house to house for the past two weeks, bringing together competitors, judges, musicians, operators and trainers. Competitors have been able to vote for two years now. Pokhrel has 16 voting codes. American Idol has an arrangement to vote by downloading SMS, American Idol's website and American Idol's app. Through three means, one can cast 30 votes 10 times. Pokhrel, popularly known as Arthur Gunn, is the first Nepali to reach this place in American Idol.
